Patrick Thompson, AIA, is a LEED-AP and partner in M•D•T and has been a principal or employee of prominent Chicago-area firms since 1984. He has extensive experience with health-care and not-for profit clients and has served as a Technical Assistance Consultant for the Public Health Service of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He is partner in charge for PCC’s Austin Family Health Center, a LEED-Gold, 18,000+ square foot community health center on Chicago’s west side. The project includes geothermal heating/cooling, green roof, solar hot water heating, and stormwater control via a constructed wetland.
