At their annual awards dinner on Wednesday May 18th held at the Union League club the Chicago Building Congress awarded to PCC Austin Family Health Center the Merit Award for Construction under $15 Million. The citation states "This project displays distinctive design, outstanding construction and a positive impact on the surrounding community."
PCC Austin Family Health Center was featured in the December 2010 issue of Green Building & Design magazine in an article about Madison Construction. Madison, with their joint-venture partner Kingdom Community, was the construction manager for the projece designed by Manske Dieckmann Thompson.
PCC Austin Family Health Center Opened in January of 2010. After review of documentation of the design, construction and commissioning of the building, the United States Green Building Council has certified that the project has achieved LEED-Gold level certification. According to Charlie Saville of Sieben Energy Associates, the LEED consultant for the project, PCC Austin was one of two LEED projects of theirs to acheive credits in each of the 6 categories.

This month, we will be displaying the work of talented local artist Denise Keim! An opening reception will be held on August, 5th from 5-9pm. The work will remain up throughout August, so stop by any time to take a look for yourself!
Denise is a photographer, videographer, and educator with over 20 years of experience portraying the human landscape. Her work has been published in a number of books and periodicals, notably Illinois 24/7 and The Los Angeles Times ...Magazine, and has been exhibited in the United States and internationally, including the Union of Polish Photographers Gallery in Krakow, Poland, Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, Oregon, and The 4th Street Photo Gallery in New York City. She continues to be inspired as a street photographer and is devoted to the magic of the darkroom.
