Heartland Health Outreach (HHO) and Heartland International Health Centers (HIHC) are subsidiaries of Heartland Alliance for Human Needs and Human Rights in Chicago.

HHO has been a client of MDT since 1994 when we designed their Heartland Health Center Uptown.  In 2010 we designed a thorough remodeling to update the facility and respond to changed needs.  First opened in 1994, this clinic housed 2 parallel clinics, one for families and one for homeless residents of the neighborhood.  A change in the organization prompted the 2010 redesign which includes a family practice clinic and a full dental suite.

MDT has designed 2 clinics for HIHC.  Heartland Health Center Rogers Park in an existing small medical office building in 2008.  And Heartland Health Center Lincoln Square on the ground floor of a new condo building in 2009.
