When faced with a looming deadline to relocate their Lakeview clinic due to the pending demolition of their building, HHC engaged MDT to evaluate multiple sites for a new location.

By the time a space was identified - a former mattress store and adjoining bar - and lease negotiations were underway, there was precious little time for design, construction, and move-in. When bids were received and permits secured, only 6 weeks remained until HHC would be forced to move, but HHC, MDT, and MRG Construction all worked in tandem to meet this tight deadline and pulled together a space that feels anything but rushed.

Functionality, ease of navigation, and straightforwardconstruction were key design factors. The finished space is airy with a fresh, contemporary look. Part of the storefront was replaced and the entry was made accessible. A bright, openwaiting area now welcomes you, and natural wood finishes and accent colors enliven the space throughout.
